Any domains registered through us are not only subject to our terms, but also to Nominet UK’s terms, click here to view them.
We will issue an invoice for domains 1-2 months before they are due to expire.
If we have not received payment or acknowledgement of your intention to pay by the domain expiry date, we will contact you.
If a domain is not renewed, it will be suspended and web/email/other services reliant on that domain name will stop working – renewal is still possible for a period of 60 days before it is cancelled with Nominet and available for resale on the internet.
.uk domains are invoiced at £10+vat per year and are invoiced 2 months in advance to allow you to query/cancel if required (webhosting charges are separate)
If you no longer require a domain name or wish to transfer the domain name to another provider, please let us know at least 30 days before the expiry date so that no renewal charges apply.
Any outstanding invoices relating to a domain name should have been paid prior to a transfer.
There is no fee for cancelling or transferring away a domain name.
If there is a problem with your domain name or any services we provide relating to it, please contact us on 0333 112 9000 for an immediate response or send an email to itsupport@dataplan.co.uk where we will get back to you within 1 business day.
Any faults that prevent normal business operations will be given priority.

If a website we host has malware or other unsuitable content on it please contact us on 0333 112 9000 so we can investigate immediately.
If you are receiving emails that say they are from a domain name we host, we will ask for a copy of the headers of the email and will investigate as it is possible for anyone to send emails pretending to be from any domain and so may not be sent from our servers and therefore we may not be able to do anything about it.
All domain names registered through Nominet must be registered correctly and to the correct legal registrant of the domain so they can be contacted should a problem arise.
